Our Worship and Remembrance Service is a time focusing on Jesus and God's provision of salvation through him. It consists of songs, prayers and Scripture, and culminates in taking communion together.

Our Family Bible Hour consists of Bible teaching, singing and Sunday School for kids through 6th grade. Sermons from this service may be found on our sermons page.

PURPOSE

Our purpose as a gathering of believers at Eastgate Bible Chapel is to glorify God in all we do. Our aim is to glorify God by making known and meaningful the characteristics of God.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His sacrificial death and resurrection. We are saved by grace through faith in Him.

SERMONS

Each Sunday we have teaching from a passage in the Bible. Our series include Old Testament and New Testament books, with occasional topical studies in between.

LEADERSHIP

While we recognize Christ as the only head of the Church, the New Testament describes human leadership as a plurality of elders. These men, raised up by the Holy Spirit, and recognized by the body, are to oversee, shepherd and lead the flock both by example and instruction. While we do not recognize any person as the pastor, we do recognize the possibility of one or more people being free to serve the body on a full-time basis as the need requires (Acts 6:1-7; 20:17-30; 1 Timothy 3:1-13).
